Ryan Coogler Creed

"Your father was special. I don't know if you are." Warner Bros has unveiled a new TV spot, the first spot for this movie, as well as the official poster for Ryan Coogler's Creed. This boxing drama stars Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Creed, Apollo's son, who decides to step back into the ring and live up to his father's legacy. Sylvester Stallone also stars, along with Graham McTavish, Tessa Thompson, Wood Harris and Phylicia Rashad. After two excellent trailers so far this is one of my most anticipated films left to see this year. The poster seems to be lacking, very basic and unexciting, but I'm not worried about the film living up to expectations. I've got high hopes for Ryan Coogler, with this film and beyond. In theaters in two months.

Here's the new TV spot + official poster for Ryan Coogler's Creed, direct from WB's YouTube/@WBpictures:

Creed is directed by Ryan Coogler (Fruitvale Station) from a script he co-wrote with Aaron Covington. Adonis Johnson (Michael B. Jordan) never knew his father, world heavyweight champion Apollo Creed, who died before he was born. But boxing is in his blood, so he tracks Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) down and asks him to be his trainer, despite his insistence that he is out of the fight game for good. With Rocky in his corner, it isn’t long before Adonis gets his own shot at the title. But can he develop not only the drive but also the heart of a true fighter? Warner Bros & MGM release the film at Thanksgiving on November 25th. Your legacy is more than a name. For more updates on Ryan Coogler's Creed, follow them @creedmovie.
